Mohawk Gardens has seven acres which includes 5 greenhouses, where we grow our spring container plants and hanging baskets. We also grow all our own hybrid poinsettias for Christmas and all our hardy mums for the fall.
Four Acres of nursery stock make us one of the largest suppliers of retail and wholesale plant material in the area.
We run our landscape design and installation company from this large nursery yard. Mohawk Gardens has won county and national awards for landscaping projects.
Mohawk Gardens offers a greenhouse of forced Easter bulbs. After Easter we specialize in perennials in containers, quarts, and gallons--10,000 to see. It is definitely worth the trip.
We are a dealer for Grinnell paving stone and wall stones. We are one of the largest installers of pavers in the area.

Starting September Mohawk Gardens opens it's fall and Halloween shop which offers decorations along with tons of pumpkins, mums, gourds, Indian corn, and corn stalks.
The Christmas shop opens in the middle of November with everything in indoor and outdoor decorations and greens. Our own poinsettias are sold in the greenhouse. We also have hand decorated wreaths, cut trees to 15 feet, and live trees that can be planted for lasting memories.
Mohawk Gardens is open 7 days a week 12 months a year.
We are closed New Years Day, 4th of July ,Thanksgiving day and Christmas day. We open 9 a.m.and close at night according to the season.
